Whether you like your brows arched and feathered or straight and bold, your eyebrows are arguably the most important facial feature. If you are not satisfied with the ones you have, there are so many ways to update them; pencils, stains, tints, waxing ,threading, tattooing. Now there is a very natural option that delivers semi-permanent results unlike the sometimes un-natural sharpie block look of regular tattooing.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING
Microblading is a method of application that involves natural strokes that look just like real hairs. Microblading is a form of micro pigmentation. It involves implanting pigment under the skin in small hair-like strokes that imitate the natural brows. This will give you a flawless full brow look.
The procedure is undertaken using a hand tool with ultra fine needles to help create a super fine realistic brow look. Each “hair” is gently etched into the skin.
To maintain your new look you will need to have infills as this is a semi permanent procedure.
Infills are recommended between 6 months to a year.
Having a facial tattoo even semi permanent can be daunting. We will be extremely patient and do whatever is necessary to ensure that you are happy with the shape and colour of your new brows. During the brow mapping stage we will take as long as is needed to perfect your design It is as important to us as it is to you that you are happy.
DOES IT HURT?
The microblading procedure is considered a mild pain. We do apply a numbing cream to the area. this does not numb the pain completely, but will take the edge off. The treatment is not a long process. it takes only 30 – 45 minutes for the actual tattooing part.
- Natural flawless look.
- Removal of current day to day eyebrow routine.
- Well being (confidence).
WHAT TO EXPECT
During this stage you will come in for a chat and a skin test. The aim is to find out about what you are looking to achieve and if you are able to have microblading done. There is a consultation form that needs to be completed. If then you are happy that you would like to proceed with microblading, we ask for a £50 deposit this comes off of the total so only remainder left to pay on the day. The deposit is none refundable.
You will arrive at the salon. we will take you over to the brow station where if required we will tidy and tint the brow. Numbing cream is then applied to the eyebrows. The numbing cream is on for about half an hour in this time you will be offered a hot drink and a magazine to read.
We will then take you into the studio where you will lay down and relax while we map out your desired brow. Once you are completely happy we will begin the microblading treatment, this takes 30 to 45 mins. Once completed you will be shown and asked to look over the new brows to see if you would like anything adding. At this point you need to look closely and make sure you are completely happy.
Brows are NOT to be touched for the first 48 hours. No swimming for 4 weeks No gym for at least 2 weeks. No sun bathing. Avoid sweating. NO make up on brows until the brows are healed fully.
We recommend an aftercare cream, which is available in salon, that can be applied to the brows twice a day after the 48 hour period. You are welcome to use your own aftercare. But we have had the best results with An79, it is all natural and formulated especially to help the skin rejuvenate and keep its pigment.
You will need to return in 4 to 6 weeks for your top up. This will be a repeat for the first session, with less time required as the brow will not need to be remapped out. This session is to put hair like strokes in where they couldn’t or haven’t taken the first time, to give you that full perfect brow.
This session will take approximately one hour. Once session 2 is completed you will need to follow the same aftercare again for 4 to 6 weeks.
We wouldn’t then expect to see you again for 6 month to a year for a infill. The price of this is totally dependant on how much you would need putting back in and if we would have to remap the brows.
The price will range from £50 to £100 .
